IN-PERSON SYMPOSIUMS
In 2025, RIE Toronto will hold two In-Person Symposiums in Toronto and two virtual events. The Year End symposium includes the official RIE Toronto Annual General Meeting which highlights the report on the past year and plans for the future year. RIE Sponsors are eligible to participate in all events based on their sponsorship level.

Participation details are described below:

Please reach out to the  Sponsorship Director for guidance on registering guests.

ADDITIONAL SPONSORSHIP opportunities

Food and Beverage (F&B) Sponsorship Opportunities – Each in-person symposium includes lunch and coffee breaks. Sponsoring the F&B for events can provide additional recognition for existing sponsors, or a one-off opportunity for new sponsors. Special signage will be placed near the food and beverage table prominently displaying sponsor logos. In addition, the meeting facilitator will give special thanks during the opening and closing remarks. Sponsors
may wish to discuss opportunities to sponsor networking events outside of the regular RIE schedule such as special events. Please reach out to the Sponsorship Director for additional information on these separate sponsorship opportunities.

December Symposium /Annual General Meeting - F&B Sponsorship for our December Symposium/Annual General Meeting will be offered to one sponsor for the entire event. The Sponsor will then retain the first right to sponsor the event the following year and must confirm their intent by August 31 during the year. In addition, sponsors may wish to discuss opportunities to sponsor networking events outside of the regular RIE schedule. Please reach out to the Sponsorship Director for additional information on these separate sponsorship opportunities.

NETWORKING EVENTS
Throughout the year, RIE Toronto may host various networking events to bring members together in either a social environment or a seminar/workshop  setting. These events also provide sponsors with an opportunity for additional exposure. When possible, RIE Toronto Sponsors will be acknowledged through a formal announcement by a RIE Board Member. All sponsors are welcome to register as attendees for these networking events.

JOINTLY HELD SPECIAL EVENTS
Sponsors have the opportunity to host an event where they fully fund and manage the content. These events allow sponsors to collaborate with RIE to attract attendance at an event with a sponsor-centric agenda. Interested parties should contact the Sponsorship Director for scheduling a Sponsor Event.
RIE will promote the event to its members and participate in the event. Coordination of the event will be shared between RIE and the Sponsor as follows:

  • The event will be posted on the RIE Toronto website, allowing RIE members to register.
  • RIE Toronto will post and share details on the RIE Toronto LinkedIn page
  • RIE Toronto will attend the event and assist with registration, including providing name badges if requested, introduce the session, speakers etc., if the location makes this possible
  • The Sponsor will provide speakers and the agenda, however RIE Toronto can collaborate on the planning of the event (suggest speakers, topics etc.) if appropriate
  • The Sponsor will handle logistics such as the meeting room, audiovisual setup, food, beverages, and bear all associated costs.

SPONSOR’S EVENTS COMMUNICATION
Sponsors will have the opportunity to promote specific events on the RIE Toronto Events Calendar, with a hyperlink to the sponsor event page. This presents an excellent chance to inform all RIE members of the events hosted by the sponsors. RIE Toronto will include event details as part of its regular communication to all members regarding specific sponsor events.
All event details must be sent to the Webmaster.

For a complete list of benefits of sponsorship, please refer to our Sponsorship Information Package or contact the RIE Toronto Sponsorship Director.
